Hi, I’m Makenna! I was born and raised in North Austin, and I have been doing hair since 2017.

I’m a homebody, so any time I get the chance to be in my own space is a good day in my book. I’m also a huge fan of movies — If you want to talk Marvel or horror, I’m your girl. Aside from that, I love writing/bullet journaling, podcasts (especially true crime/spooky ones) and spending time with family and friends. I’m an absolute animal lover, too! Im the person who wants to see your pet pics — Especially if it’s of cats. I have two of my own, Clyde and Freddie.

I went to school at the Aveda Institute in Austin, where I discovered my love for haircutting! Short cuts are my personal favorite — Bobs, pixies, clippers, anything that requires personalization and detail. I’ve spent the last four years specializing in haircuts, as well as working as a blowdry educator! I’m passionate about educating myself in the latest and greatest techniques, as well as teaching my clients how to recreate their look. By far, my favorite part about my job is the people! l adore getting to meet new people, and make connections with them while helping them look their best.
